What’s different from Aurora Legacy

Already using Aurora Legacy? These are the Reflections additions that change how you move between characters, manage a session, and work with content.

  • A workspace built for live playUse a dedicated Session screen with short- and long-rest actions and custom resource counters. Choose when each custom resource resets to keep track of limited-use abilities during play.
  • Keep multiple characters openSwitch between characters using tabs in one window, with unsaved-change indicators and a save prompt when closing a modified character.
  • D&D Beyond import — experimentalImport a D&D Beyond JSON export, or use Windows OCR to read a D&D Beyond character sheet PDF. Review the parsed result before creating the character; import coverage is still developing.
  • Review local content correctionsContent Doctor shows the local corrections applied to your content and identifies fixes that have been incorporated upstream. Enable Developer / debug mode to open this advanced view and inspect import issues.

Trying it alongside Legacy? Reflections uses the same character directory by default on Windows. Avoid editing the same character in both apps at once; concurrent changes are not merged.

Optional Google Drive cloud saves

In builds with Cloud Saves enabled, connect your own Google account to open and explicitly save characters between devices. Reflections accesses app-created or individually authorized Drive files; character and session data travel directly between your device and Google Drive.

Local characters work without a Google connection. Cloud saves are not continuous background sync, and disconnecting does not delete your files. Availability depends on your build and Google authorization.
